Based on a true story, Sing Sing features a remarkable ensemble of formerly incarcerated actors, many playing themselves, in a deeply moving film about resilience, redemption, and the life-changing power of art.
In Sing Sing, Colman Domingo (Euphoria) delivers a powerhouse performance as Divine G, a man incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit. Within the walls of Sing Sing prison, he finds unexpected purpose through a theatre program made up of fellow inmates—including a guarded newcomer played by Clarence Maclin.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Choir of High Hopes will perform live before the screening of Sing Sing at the Kingborough Community Hub.
This critically acclaimed film is a powerful story of redemption, art, and hope — and pairing it with the magic of a live choir makes this the perfect way to celebrate our closing night
